honestly my skin routine is embarrassingly short
Right so everyone talks about 10-step routines and I just... can't. I tried for about three weeks and kept falling asleep before finishing. My actual skin routine is four things and I've stuck to it for months now which for me is basically a miracle.
Cleanser, vitamin C serum (the one I use is dead cheap from Boots), moisturiser, SPF. That's it. Morning takes me maybe four minutes. Evening I swap the SPF for a slightly thicker cream. The thing I actually think made the most difference though wasn't adding anything — it was finally being consistent with collagen. I've been taking it daily since I started dealing with the stress-related hair stuff and I genuinely think my skin texture has changed. Could be other things. Could be placebo. But I look less... tired? I mean I'm still tired, lol, but my skin isn't showing it quite as much. Whatever the reason, boring and consistent beats complicated and sporadic every single time for me.
