ok my spring routine is basically two things
SPF and not touching my face. That's it. That's the post.
Honestly I've tried the whole 7-step thing and I just... don't. I forget half of it by Wednesday and then I stress about it which probably makes my skin worse anyway.
What I actually do every morning: gentle wash, vitamin C serum (been on this for a few weeks now, to be fair I do think it's doing something), moisturiser with SPF built in. Done. Three minutes max.
Evening is just double cleanse and something thicker if my skin feels tight. That's genuinely it.
I think spring specifically messes with your skin because the weather can't make its mind up — cold morning, weirdly warm afternoon, wind. So I've stopped trying to have a perfect routine and just focus on keeping the barrier intact and not undoing it with SPF neglect.
