peach and ginger thing — honestly didn't expect much

Right so I had two peaches that were basically melting on the counter and I didn't want to just eat them, I mean I could have but that felt like a waste of a blending opportunity. Threw them in with a proper thumb of fresh ginger — more than I probably should have — some coconut water, a squeeze of lime, and a handful of ice. Blended it hard. That's it. It came out this mad peachy coral colour and the ginger hits at the end in a way that sort of wakes you up without being aggressive about it. Had it this morning before a session and I felt genuinely good going in, not heavy at all. I've tried ginger in blends before and it usually takes over everything but for some reason with peach it just... sits right. Maybe it's the sweetness balancing it out, I don't actually know. Didn't add any sweetener, didn't need to. The peaches were so ripe they were basically already halfway to juice anyway. If your peaches are on the firm side you'd probably want to leave them out a day or two first. Firm peach in a blender is fine but it's not the same — you lose that almost floral thing they do when they're properly ripe. Worth the wait tbh.
